Rsync over SSH Produces can't load library 'libpopt.so.0'

I ran rsync over ssh but I keep getting the message
can't load library 'libpopt.so.0'

I checked the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and the /opt/usr/lib is included and libpopt.so.0 exist in /opt/usr/lib

You need to make sure the pathes starting with /opt are FIRST in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
