I used to host this game all the time that uses UDP ports 19524 and 19525. Now no matter what I do the server always says Nat/Firewall from outside. I used to just use the Port range forwarding and it worked fine. Now no matter what I do it always says I am Natted.

Is there any way around this? I bought the special version of DD-WRT a while back. This is an old gamespy game. The strange thing is that if I have my clients use my IP it will connect, but the gamespy board is seeing my client as firewalled. I have turned off every single firewall checkbox in DDwrt and even tried DMZ. I just gave up on this, but recently decided to try again, but still dosent work. The only thing I have not tried is a different router. I like my old WRT54GL with DDWRT firmware, it always worked great for years now.

You are lacking on information.

Particularly:
what is the build number of the firmware you are using?
what specific router are you using?
who is your ISP and connection type (cable/dsl/fiber)?

Now that I have asked those questions, have you tried a hard reset on the router?

build 15962

wrt54gl

road runner cable 10m

tried new firmware, multiple resets- so strange. it worked for like 4 years until one day it just quit working and now nothing I do will work. Called ISP they do not block any ports.

I guess I am looking for an alternate method of port forwarding. Even DMZ does not work??? that should be wide open right?

Use 14929, 12548 or read the port forwarding sticky.
