What is the reason for automatically rebooting (warm boot) the WRT three times after oneanother, when changes have been made to e.g. some QoS-settings?

Code:
Jul  1 16:40:08 dd-wrt kernel: CPU revision is: 00029008
Jul  1 16:41:17 dd-wrt kernel: CPU revision is: 00029008
Jul  1 16:42:24 dd-wrt kernel: CPU revision is: 00029008

(unique snippet from when a router has booted)

And even after rebooting this way, the startup-script (through the "Samba FS Automount") isn't even parsed or run.
Only if I pull the plug (cold boot) everything works as expected afterwards.
So my idea so far is: made changes to the cfg? Run to the WRT and power it off/on by pulling the plug yourself.

Enlighten me here please...
