When I load the WRT610n special mega build 16785, the router fails to get a WAN ip address. I tried resetting the modem, router, etc and it all fails. When I go back the previous version (15962) everything works.

Also a note on a Linksys WRT54GL 1.1

Downloaded and flashed from special beta - build 15962
to special beta - build 16785, and I also lost all ability to renew an IP from my ISP. Reflashed with the old 15962 and the IP was able to renew.

I'll stick with 15962 until someone can let me know what I did wrong.

I've the same problem on my wrt300n. reflash an old version fixes the problem.

Which version did you try?

Seem to have a non-functional WAN port also on a buffalo whr-hp-g54. Build = dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin

I searched the forum but I could not find answer :/
DD-WRT Guru could you enlighten us why builds greater than 15962 have a problem on our routers ?

I started having a lot of problems (not answering DNS peitions ergo unable to surf) with revition ... mmm well, i got confused now cause i think i remember i had revision 15962 and i downgraded and now my 610Nv1 says it has the 15867 but there is no link to that version # in the forum...

I think that inside the post saying 15802 is the link that takes you to version 15867.

Anyway 15867 so far is unbeatable, the bes i had, all is working more quickly and neat

Just curious if there were any updates/confirmations for this? There are newer firmware versions out, tried 17820, but still having the same issue (no DHCP IP lease on the WAN port).

Side issue: 15962 appears to be the latest version with WAN/DHCP working. Does anybody else have problems on 15962 with the timers - timer for both the system and connection uptime? Mine keeps resetting.

Im member since 2009 and i read a lot... I consider that im not a annoying member bothering all the time cause i read a lot more than i ask stuff.

I noticed that things change and maybe some progress in one thing ends up generating antagonical data on the forum (ie: some post saying something and some other saying opposite)...

I read that K2.6 has slow gui but i couldn't find a K2.4 ...

I want to achieve more stabillity in N connections so i prefer triyng other not special but updated build...

Can please somebody answer me if it's OK to try this build ?
