Hello,
I couldn't find my new router in the router database, so I followed the instructions to post its specs here.
I found it on Amazon.com here. It has some pretty good reviews so I'm trying it out.
Maybe someone can help me figure out if dd-wrt is compatible with it or not.
Here are some 12MP pictures I took of it.
It looked like there were some pencil markings on the chips; I didn't think to erase them 'til after I took the pictures, but I added some textboxes in the picture so you can clearly see the text.
The one on the left is:
MXIC (Macronix?)
S110881
MX29LV320EBTI-70G
3E823700
And the one on the right is:
EtronTech
EM639165TS-6G
021AG06AGJ430.12ZQ
I found a previous post about this router but someone incorrectly posted that this router has 2MB of flash memory; in fact, the datasheet that I linked to above for the EtronTech chip shows that it has 8MB of memory (I think).
Now, of the Macronix and the EtronTech, I don't know which does what (CPU, RAM, FLASH, PCB, etc?), I'm new to this.
Can anyone tell me if this router can be supported?
Thanks.
