Hi all

I sucessfully loaded "DD-WRT v23 SP1 Final (05/16/06) std" onto my buffalo WBR2-G54S and i have to say im very impressed. As im living in a shared house its very hard to stop people using the full download rates and many arguments start so i took the plunge and ordered the special edition to help the problem.

I am editing the .bin file in a hex editor and appending:

Code:

00h:  57 42 52 32 2D 47 35 34 53 20 32 2E 33 30 20 36 ; WBR2-G54S 2.30 6
01h:  2E 31 30 0A 66 69 6C 65 6C 65 6E 3D 33 35 32 36 ; .10.filelen=3526
02h:  36 35 36 0A                                     ; 656.

However when i upload this to the router to do a firmware upgrade i get the following error:

Quote:

Upgrade Failed

Many thanks for any help as i really want to get this working :)

Cheers

managed to get the QOS working i have limited everyone to 1MB per mac

How does the QOS work for the bulk on torrents? does it work through port or does it analyse the packet data?

Also excellent program im extremely impressed with it, so many excellent features the big router companies really need to get inline and learn something from DD-WRT!

Cheers

it analyses the packet data and works almost. just the encrypted bit torrent data is hard to track
