Hi all,
I have a Linksys WRT320N running dd-wrt.v24-14896 Firmware.
At port 4 on the router I have a IPTV box connected which kind of works, I get the channels but no channel information/options or correct date on box. I checked few forums and this is because it needs some specific parameters sent from my ISP's DHCP server (RFC 2131) which senses if the device is a IPTV box or something else and this is something my router DHCP server does not handle.
According to customer service, what I need is to create a bridge that exposes my IPTV box to the WAN network so it gets an IP address and data from their DHCP server.
Is this even possible with DD-WRT and how do I do it?
Get build 15508 or higher which fixes the VLAN GUI for your model, then move the LAN port that the IPTV box uses from VLAN 1 to VLAN 2. _________________ Read the forum announcements thoroughly! Be cautious if you're inexperienced.

Looking for bricks and spare routers to expand my collection. (not interested in G spec models)
Is there anything else I need to do except assign port 4 to another VLAN2 in Setup->VLANs? Don't I need to setup that VLAN2 as well? I tried doing this on current Firmware (including setting up the VLAN) without any success at all.
I heard from one source that the port labeled "4" in the software does not match port "4" the one on the router itself. Is that true?
