did i mess something up? is a good title for this post.
im trying to lock down my router. i caught my kids getting into stuff i would rather them not.
in the access restriction menu i have-
Catch all P2P Protocols -checked
bitorrent -blocked
ftp -blocked
block1 -blocked - custom service that blocks ports 1-79
block2 -blocked - custom service that blocks ports 81-65535
the custom services block1 and 2 are new. everything worked fine until i added them. however my kids were still able to do the 'bad' things with those items turned on. So i decided to block all of the ports but web surfing.
now every time i log into my router it restarts. networks fine. i can ping it. but the instant i try to log into it, it restarts.
how can i fix this and still have everything blocked? |
