Hello

I have just bought a bunch of ALIX boards and even more DNMA92 cards. I ordered my 5 activations and thought I would be on the road to bliss within the hour.

My problems are pretty simple. I am running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std (SVN revision 13064) with an ALIX and the DNMA92 (or to be more precise DNMA-92). I am getting nothing. Even if I set them up as a basic AP no clients can see the AP. Even if I don't change any settings at all.

Can anyone help? Or did I just go and waste a whole lot of money?

Thanks

OK

I have it running on 14311. Very unstable though. The devices have crashed a couple of times during the config.

14896 does not have many options for the wireless and it looks like it is not supported.

When will a stable version be out?

The device crashes on a regular basis. Is there a more stable in-between release?

Has anyone got this config to work?

There is nothing in the Wiki (At least that I can find) on this.

I read the stickies and installed v24 preSP2 Build 14896 on them.

They work with a few crashes. If more traffic they handle the more they crash. This can be a couple of times a day and is not acceptable for business use.

The Alix Boards are new and the last Alix Bios update was in 2008.

I bought brand new CF cards to flash the image.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem with DNMA92 cards?

Just because i'm curious, does pretty much everyone run bleeding edge snapshots on x86? I've been using dd-wrt on-and-off on various hardware for many years now and i have never had a positive experience with the "stable" release. It always seems that some random, discovered through trial-and-error snapshot version works best, and unless a device has a large enough install base that magic version is difficult to track down. I currently run 15940 on my alix board, basically picked the latest at the time because i was having stability issues with other releases, and while it has been working fairly well for some time now i'm itching for an upgrade...
