Hi BS, for any reason the Seano 2610 - 14929 firmware seems to display wrong MAC adresses.
The wrong MAC address you refer to, is it the radio's own wireless MAC address or the MAC addresses of the available networks as shown in a site survey ?
Edit - I notice "transmited" in the title. You must refer be referring to the radio's wireless MAC.
Hi GeeTek ! Yep, sounds strange, as when I start usig the 2610, I have the 3 MACs in the segment of 00:02:XX:YY:ZZ:56 - 00:02:XX:YY:ZZ:57 - 00:02:XX:YY:ZZ:57.
Then, when I am using it, at a point, it CHANGES the MAC addresses to :
Really strange. I have also noticed that the AP (Client mode + VAP) does create several VAPs with the same name / but "virtual" MAC is different.
Not sure if it is normal or a bug in BS 14929 firmware. I hope being able to test it deeply these days and report here. _________________ 2x EOC-2160 - AP 2x14dB Yagy to 450m link

Hi Sash, thanks for the feedback. Any chance to know what digits will be changed by the firmware, and what we can expect as numbers ? I have not found any info about i.
By the way, the EOC-2610 are pretty good products, was able to do a long distance link with an excellent performance.

Holy Cow ! GeeTek ! For sure I have 1 VAP ! and for sure it has been confusing ! BUT, it doesnt explain why my computer was seeing 13 VAPs with the same name but different MAC addresses (the 06 first byte was different for all the VAPs I didnt create).
Well , I am older than you, so, I have to show myself as an example ! No drugs, No alcool, No cigarettes, No Sex ! Only fucking computers and routers !
I will certainly follow you advice and start binge drinking, in order to forget I am getting older !
Thinking of buying a panel antenna with 22dB. Do you have any experience with them ?

Unfortunately the only panels I have used were 14 dB. For higher gain I have always used grids, but I would also be very interested to see how a 22 dB panel performs. I have a few installs where the panel would look much nicer than the big grid.
LOL about setting a good example for me. I will have to consider the advice since the breathalyzer on my keyboard is usually broken.
