Okay, I'm looking to create a VPN between my router and a server so that everyone on my LAN can see everyone connected to the VPN (Windows SMB etc.) as well as all the clients connected to the VPN can see everything in my LAN.

Setup like:

I want to set the VPN up using a private LAN range (eg. 10.1.2.0/24)

Looking for ideas etc.?

I won't want to have to be running any VPN software on my LAN machines, and I do not want to route all traffic through the VPN, only stuff meant for it. (Broadcasts etc. for the 192.168.0.0/24 will have to go through it though for Windows SMB etc. to work?)

Thanks

(DDWRT v24 on a WRT54GL)

That is so helpful...

So it's just a normal OpenVPN client on DDWRT?

Bridging or routing though? I presume bridging in terms of on the ddwrt, but it will need to route broadcast from LAN to the VPN?

Or am I just confusing myself, and it's just a simple web based setup.
