Wanting to buy any and all broken(actually broken, not just "I made a mistake flashing") WRT series, to be used for teardowns/destructive testing to further understand the Broadcom SoCs. Any information gleaned from this activity will be posted publicly for the community. Please PM/Reply with what you have and a price. Thanks!

Currently Slated for Teardown:
WRT54G v5
WRT54G v1.1
WRT55AG v1

Edit 1: Still looking for more broken routers, want to amend my interests to include any Broadcom-based G routers with USB.

Edit 2: Spelling in first edit.

Edit 3: List of Routers.

I have a WRT54G v1.0 with dead WiFi...can't seem to communicate with clients, regardless of firmware.

Free + shipping from 62062

Hi there, I have a broken Asus WL-500W. While adding some heatsinks to the router I accidentally broke off the 8mb flash chip (subsequently threw it away in anger), also one the the antenna cables is ruined (i.e. the end that connects to the wi-fi board is gone).

Router was working flawlessly with K24 13525 mega flashed on it, I also have a backup of the CFE ("good" revision - K26 friendly). A new chip and a re-solder (and a new middle antenna ;] or a detachable antenna mod) should result in a pretty solid router.

Please bear in mind that I am currently in Bulgaria so shipping to US alone could come out to around 20-25 USD.

I have a WRT54G V.8...its not bricked, but something is wrong with it such that it keeps rebooting itself after being powered on for some time. Caps all look good, must be something else...PM if interested
