Now work with WNR834Bv2 Firmware Version 2.0.8

I tried this :clear your browser cache and try this one....

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/V24_TNG/svn13491-snow/NEWD/dd-wrt.v24-13491_NEWD_mini_wnr834bv2.chk

and this :Then stop using local character set in your folder names

No change!

Also, when I try to update during the Check for New Version from the Internet-> Attempting to connect Netgear Server 1 -> No Internet Connection Available

But i have internet access ...

Four requests, four responses. That's nice, but it's an incomplete answer. TTL=64? TTL=100? Something else?

What is the history of this router, what 3rd party software have you used on it before?

Hey buddee, thanks for the tip on using dd-wrt.v24-13491_NEWD_mini_wnr834bv2.chk
I was able to successfully recover my brick, using pin short method.
I had bricked flashing to :
dd-wrt.v24-14583_NEWD_std-nokaid.bin
following or misfollowing dommy99's instructions in earlier post

is there a recommended & newer version that works without risk of bricking? or am I better off staying with 13491 mini ?

Well the tried and true build, which is in my signature link "Firmware Recommendations" is 13525, i personally use the latest Eko builds right now, which is 14826. Just consider the later builds to be test builds.
