Four requests, four responses. That's nice, but it's an incomplete answer. TTL=64? TTL=100? Something else? _________________ Netgear WNR834Bv2 DD-WRT build 14311 nokaid (Primary)

Hey buddee, thanks for the tip on using dd-wrt.v24-13491_NEWD_mini_wnr834bv2.chk
I was able to successfully recover my brick, using pin short method.
I had bricked flashing to :
dd-wrt.v24-14583_NEWD_std-nokaid.bin
following or misfollowing dommy99's instructions in earlier post
is there a recommended & newer version that works without risk of bricking? or am I better off staying with 13491 mini ?

Well the tried and true build, which is in my signature link "Firmware Recommendations" is 13525, i personally use the latest Eko builds right now, which is 14826. Just consider the later builds to be test builds. _________________ Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ
