Yes, but the funny thing is that both meltyblood ( Legend firmware ) and orange ( Piranha firmware ) have "disappeared" and I cannot seem to find them. I'm lucky that their sites with the firmware images are up though
Actually, I'm still alive! That said, Piranha 4.0 works on all Atheros hardware, incl. the EOC-2610. It's available at http://piranha.pwnz.org/pub/4.0/ _________________ 7x La Fonera 2100, 1x NanoStation2 Loco

So, do I flash my radio with root.squashfs, vmlinux.lzm aye or one or more of the various numerous "packages"?
You just need to flash openwrt-atheros-root.squashfs/openwrt-atheros-vmlinux.lzma onto your device. The repository (again) serves the full set of ipk packages already pre-installed. _________________ 7x La Fonera 2100, 1x NanoStation2 Loco

BTW, just a quick feature list of Piranha 4.0 100708
OpenWrt Backfire 10.03 r22092 in client-mode pre-configuration
Aircrack-ng 1.1
AAP 3.0 100706
GNU Screen 4.0.3
GNU Mac Changer 1.5.0
kmod-tun to support airbase-ng
monitor/sta scripts
CIFS share
Due to the (currently) inexistent Piranha Project Website, I'd appreciate blog posts by interested people! _________________ 7x La Fonera 2100, 1x NanoStation2 Loco

Thanks, I've downloaded both. I have a 2610 with RF problems that will make an excellent guinea pig. Concerning the factory firmware, there is nothing but room for improvement. I'll see if I can figure out how to stuff these files into the silicone and make something good happen. I have a few Engenius links up and I like them for their simple, logical and very functional implimentation of WDS.
Obviously, you already got your answer at OpenWrt's forums: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=113107
That said, please use these instructions[1] at OpenWrt's Wiki to flash Piranha, i.e. slightly adopt them as needed for the EOC-2610. I can assure that it works!
Running the latest now .. downloaded it a few hours ago .... its been so long i forgot already how to set it up !!! _________________ WRT54G,GS v1.1, V2, V3 V4, V5
