tried the 690w firmware that BS just made (14473) the switch doesn't work. Im working on getting the switch driver loaded on boot up, but i need the driver anybody have it?

AR690W has a RTL8366SR switch so how will you be helped with a driver for something that is already included in the build?

I checked here and I was wrong, my switch driver doesn't show up in /proc/modules.

My switch driver for a Broadcom based router is located in:

/lib/modules/2.6.24.111/kernel/drivers/net/switch

in my case switch-core.ko and switch-robo.ko , in your case most likely rtl8366.ko

You can do an insmod there of the switch driver if you think it is not loaded.

there is no switch folder.

what does exists is imq.ko and a folder called wireless

i did a find / -name *.ko and the only thing that showed was imq.ko

i also searched for rtl8366.ko and it doesn't exist.

It is possible that the switch driver is compiled into the kernel.

I did a quick search in the dd-wrt source tree but couldn't find much about the AR690W

Is it only the LAN ports not working or also the WAN port? Can you connect via wireless?

What is really needed now is a serial log of the boot to see what actually gets loaded and if there are any error messages..
