I know the E3000 is not currently supported, and from searching the threads I realize that support is coming, my question is how will we know when it is supported, will the wiki be updated, or will someone post it in the forum?

A secondary question, I see a lot of people mentioning that you can make a serial connection to your router, without using jtag, how does one do this? What cables do I need? If this is documented somewhere feel free to RTFM me, but I couldn't find it.

When the support for the new routers arrives, which might be a long time from now, never, or tomorrow, I expect EKO will make an announcement here, similar to the stickies above that deal with new router support.

Yes the E3000 does have what looks like a serial hook up in the Wan port.
