Don't get the different versions of WPN824 mixed up.

The old versions v1, v2, and v3 are not the same as the WPN824N which is an N-radio router.

Yes, it's true, but some drivers for chipset & cpu is same...

for example (russian)
1 sample
2 sample

2Mb flash too - it's worked (but Broadcom chipset)

i'll try compile new version for WPN824 with some new packet.

now it's little bigger (2.8 Mb), but flash have only 2Mb

What package maybe have leave or change from Firmware?

Status quo.
The router will never be supported by dd-wrt.

Got the same question. Will it be possible to get dd wrt for that router ? I've just re-use this one and unplug the cable with the blue leds for the night and i had the idea to change the firmware at the same ! Wink

Why would people keep asking if the Netgear WPN 824 will be supported when it has been explained over and over that it can't be?

You can pick up a Linksys wrt54g for £10 on ebay.

Well, I am using Netgear WPN824N N150 Wireless Router, but I don't get any serious problems with this. Internet speed, email connection, overall network connections all are good at an average speed.
