Hello. Couple days ago I bought Techniclan WAR-54GATv2, it is based upon Atheros 2317 it had redboot installed. I tried to install DD-WRT Sp2 firmware from Airlin AR430v1. Everything works besides stich chip. Techniclan has an Infineon switch chip and airlink has a different chip. Is there possible for DD-WRT to support Infineon switch chip ?

Eventually I've loaded a newest beta firmware from

Netgear WGT624 v4 - device works fine and dandy.

BTW - firmwares which use fonera flash architecture have problems with commiting setting to nvram. (NOT SAVING CONFIGURATION )

Yes : Sash

I can 100% confirm that Techniclan WAR-54GAT v2 works all fine as Netgear WGT624 v4. (DD-WRT build 14144) also this firmware properly saves (commits) configuration data.

Also it's RedBoot bootloader don't need any special files for initial flash. Also RedBoot of this device is available through ethernet(you don't need a serial adapter).

someone tried the latest beta build (14311)and said WAN was slow (200KB/ps) and access control wasn't working. Could you try that build out? or is everything fine in the build you're using?

also did you use the method listed here to flash the router?: http://secure.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=290104#290104
