So I've finally managed to hose my WRT610N v1. I can no longer restore using the boot wait firmware restore method, and am not even getting pings back while it boots up. When it does boot up I get a flashing power light, and an on USB light. Tried hard resetting all to no avail.

I've seen on other forum threads that there is a serial port that can be accessed in the WAN port, and I can see the leads on the PCB. Has anybody made a cable that connects to that serial port or have instructions on how to DIY? I've been reading over all the threads for the past 2 days with no luck.
