The bandwidth seems to work and not. If I limit the bandwidth download 500 kbps or lower, it limits it. However, once I raise that to any amount over this, it seems to opens the flood gates and doesn't limit any more. Any insights? Confused

I recently switched over an access point to special build 13525 Nokaid. Since then I have been experiencing intermittent reboots and packet losses under load. My comparison reference point is V24/final/nokaid/vint, which ran without problem.

Two questions:
1) Which special build is considered the most reliable? Although I want the new features (QoS/user, increased routing entries), my first priority is establishing a comparable special baseline to v24 final.

2) Are others experiencing reboots and/or losses (dropped ping packets) on 13525?

Anyone tried this on the wrt610n v2? Or is the build only for v1?

After many attempts, QoS in build 13525 works perfect if I put in Default Bandwidth level 50kbits up, 400kbits down. random servers in speedtest.net make similar readings (~350-450Kbits down, 35-40Kbits up). But if I step up above those numbers, bandwidth limitation dissapears. So, I prefer to leave 50up 400down. Users do not call if the network is reasonably slow, they call if someone has Ares and nobody enters the Internet ...

No matter what the clients are downloading, the configuration in attachment is that which has worked wonders, two weeks ago, an occasional off by electrical faults. First try with Qos settings in WAN and in netmask priority 10.0.0.1/24, but since I am experiencing, I switch to LAN / Wireless in QoS settings and individual netmasks. Finally, the configuration for a balanced bandwith stable with a cable modem!!!! Build 13525 works better with my cablemodem than previous builds. ...Perhaps not a problem for previous buids, but the numbers in kb in up and down. For a 10Mb down, I put 5Mb. Happy with this build.

Hey,

watch your Up and Downlink!
UPLINK of 5000kbit?
Downlink of 400kbit?

You have to switch it around!
