I am running the following

Router: Linksys WRT54GL
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2

Problem: I have to split my bandwidth with another person and they are plugged into Lan port 1 on my Linksys. I need to limit that port to a certain speed so it doesn't take away from the rest of my network. I was told this could be done with DD-WRT Firmware but the user didn't remember how they did it. Please help

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I was just passing through and saw your post. I believe what you are looking for is under the NAT/QoS menu tab. Next go to the QoS section and at the bottom there is the option to limit each physical port's bandwidth. I hope that helps.

Yes that is correct but I need to limit the upload and download if possible. I attached a Screen shot of the QoS screen and I do think it is located here but I have no idea how to get it work without screwing something else up. Thanks a lot

Mike
