Running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/16/10) std - build 13637 I can't seem to get the Repeater Bridge mode to work for me. I've noticed that I am not alone here and have tried everything that everybody has suggested here in the forum. I got it working in regular client mode easily enough but when I switched to RB it disconnected from the AP and never connected back. The fact that I saw it connected on the AP in client mode proves (I think) that I configured the SSID and security settings properly.
While carefully following the steps in the WiKi I realized what may be the problem:
Quote:
Open the Wireless -> Basic Settings tab
* Wireless Physical Interface Section
o Wireless Mode : Repeater Bridge
o Wireless Network Mode : Match Primary Router
o Wireless Network Name(SSID) : Match Primary Router - Make sure you spell this correctly
o Wireless Channel : Match Primary Router (This will disappear once you put it in RB mode, and isn't needed)
o Wireless SSID Broadcast : Enable
o Network Configuration : Bridged
o Save
But the Wireless Channel doesn't disappear like it is supposed to!!
Is this a symptom of the problem (and maybe a hint to the solution) or just an error in the WiKi?

Thanks for the input. Is anybody working on this problem?
I came up with a solution here of sorts, my friend had a Linksys WRT150 running as an internet gateway and wanted to add the 670 as a repeater bridge so we spent a couple of hours changing everything around and now the 670 is his internet gateway and the 150 is working fine as a repeater bridge
