I am looking to buy a new router that will support DD-WRT, Wireless N and bridging to/with existing WRT54G.

I have a printer downstairs that I need to get connected to my home network and am unsure which router would be best. I would like it to be a wireless N device as both PCs downstairs support this mode and I do frequent transfers between them. I would like to use my WRT54G and not have to buy two new devices.

I do not care which router becomes primary, but would prefer the WRT54G to be primary as I would like the best connectivity to be downstairs where I perform the bulk of my LAN usage.

The WRT54G is using DD-WRT version (DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/27/08 ) mini - build 10011), I know this is an old package, but it is stable and I am a big fan of stability. I am not opposed to upgrading if it is necessary.

The attached diagram should be self explanatory, but as always I am sure I have omitted some important detail.

Thank you so much for any assistance you can provide. Additionally, my apologies if this is the wrong section, I did not see a section that looked more applicable.
