I installed the dd-wrt.v24-13527_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin on the 610N V1, fully working.
just do not know how to config the VOIP service. I have a VOIP router with lan cable connect between 610N and VOIP, in the main WEBGUI page, How should I setup to make it work? I already Enable the DHCP server under the DHCP mode, with 10 client, should be working. I have another DD-WRT router ( 54GL ), when it connect, VOIP is fully functional on that router, where do I do wrong?
Well, to be exactly to say. This is the issue of DD-WRT auto assign IP address to the wired router ( this router is a VOIP device ), now, it could not get IP address, so It does not work.
How could I config this auto assign IP service, I did enable the DHCP server with 20 max client to connect, wireless mode AP, what else should I do? somewhere under service tab? I have big build for 610N.
How do you have your voip box cabled to the router? I have mine from the WAN port on the voip box to one of the switch ports on the main router. _________________ WRT1900AC v1-build r30731
Don't mess with the DHCP server on the DD-WRT router...leave it at default of 50 clients and default settings. If you connect the WAN port of your VOIP router to a LAN port of the DD-WRT router, you -should- get an IP address, given the VOIP router is running default settings... _________________ Click here for Eko beta Click here for Brainslayer beta >>>PEACOCK THREAD!<<<

I have a linksys SPA 2102 R phone router from the company which i had the service from. I connect cable between internet port from SPA2102R and Port 3 of 610N router. That is my regular setup. But 610N did not assign IP address to the SPA2102R, so there is no dial tone.

I checked again, I did connect Wan port to the Lan port, but still no IP address, I figure that I need to change some setting in the DD-WRT firmware.

You are using your 610 as a Switch / WAP so follow the instructions for setting it up:

I checked both of the links. Thank you for it. But I think it just makes thing complicated, everything I had in my network are exactly what I want, except that my voip device does not receive IP address, Should be an easy fix with miner tuner.
If I followed that tutorial, I have to resetup everything all over again. Is it the only solution?
So sad, nobody knows how to config this small tweaks ---
make DD-WRT big build auto assign IP to connect routers.
Do other devices get an IP address from your 610 when plugged in? If so then you need to take a look at your voip box to make sure it is setup to get an IP address automatically. _________________ WRT1900AC v1-build r30731
I have another DD-WRT WRT54GL running the standard build, VOIP box connect to the WRT54GL, auto pickup IP address, working 100%. But connect to WRT610N, no IP address given, no signal.
I am pretty sure that VOIP setup is correct there. Just need to fix in the 610N config

Not trying to come off harsh here but you seem unwilling to look at the possibility that there may be some settings you did in the WRT54GL that you need to do in the 610 to get the voip box to work.
Did you just load the WRT54GL and plug in your voip and it worked without changing any other settings? _________________ WRT1900AC v1-build r30731
