Can you help with some information and electronic schemes for a USB to LCD to go on DD-WRT? I own an Asus WL-500G Premium and I want to attach a graphic or 20x2 LCD. Can you help with a diagram and software that would work on my router?

That sounds like a custom hardware and custom software job. You would need a person competent in soldering to put the LCD into the router and then a coder to code a mod to use the LCD or just a coder to remake the code for the USB module to properly display info on the LCD. In short you need a very nice person and a good coder or a good coder. If they are nice they will not charge too much.

I think it is easyer to use a ready made hardware instead of build an USB2LCD interface. What I have in mind is this: http://www.crystalfontz.com/product/CFA635-TFE-KU1.html

With this LCD you can use one of the mentioned software.[/url]

Just a first hit with google search for"lcd to usb converter" gives this result:
http://www.harbaum.org/till/lcd2usb/index.shtml

You have to build it for yourself that means you know how to make the PCB, to program the PIC and to soilder all tougther.

Another link to a similar project (or maybe the same didn't study it carefully) is here (another google hit Laughing ):
