How is this being done? I have been swapping between two cards, a 10Mbit card, and a 1000Mbit card. DD-WRT is assigning them opposite the way I want them assigned.
I want the 1000Mbit card to be the LAN, while the 10Mbit card should be the WAN. I have swapped them back and forth, and no matter what, it still comes up opposite of what I want. How do I manually configure/override this?

they are assigned in the order the drivers are loaded. you maybe found out the net port setup under basic setup. i will add a wan port assignment in this menu too. (i will do this now. so it will be available in the next build) _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? I installed this newer vga version yesterday after this wan port thing had been added, but while the selector shows it, and the save button seems to work, when revisiting that page, the selection seems to have been forgotten.
Is this because it is not in a series configuration, but just hanging off my local switch so I can administer it? Only one of the two cards in it has a net connection and where its sitting right now, on my pool table in the basement, it wouldn't be too feasable to run another cable so both cards were live.
BTW, I'm a friend and former co-worker of lexridge. He was at the tv station when I walked in the door in 1984 to be the chief engineer which I tried to retire from in 2002. But they won't let me. But at 72, they only get one night a week from me now ;-)
Cool stuff! _________________ --
