Download Manager vers 1.1.4.6

And it works with all the firmware versions... For the moment I'm back to 1.0.0.6

I was having a problem with the Download Master too where I could not get it to connect, but after some testing I made a list of steps to get Download Master working (at least for me.)

If the Download Master is not working try these steps.
    1. Connect your usb hdd to your computer.
    2. Run chkdsk (or equivalent) to scan and repair any errors.
    3. Delete the ".apps" (hidden) folder.
    4. Delete the ".etc" (hidden) folder.
    5. Delete the ".swap" (hidden) file.
    6. Delete* the "Download" folder in the share folder.
    7. Unplug then replug in the power of your RT-N16 router.
    8. Attach your usb hdd to the router after it has fully booted.
    9. In Download Master click File > Connect.

* If you do have any downloads in there you want to keep move them to another folder so you don't delete them.

Also, don't attach a partitioned HDD with a swap file to the unit as it automatically will create one. If there is a swap file already on the drive, it will not recognize it.

Alright.. but I'm just asking myself. With 1 partition: you have 1 file system (ext). But swap uses SWAP filesystem. How does it even work ?

It has fdisk in the firmware. So I'm assuming that is how it accomplishes it.

^ There's a big difference between a swap file and swap partition

Guys.

Couldn't you paste here the file structure creatd by rt n16 on your external hdd / flash ?

Perhaps like this I could find out what's going on.. what's missing and why is it not working.

I've tried all mentioned steps.. but in 100 % it always throws an Exception..

Technically this is correct, when using a swap file on a partition you are dealing with the overhead of whatever filesystem the swap file exists.

I wouldn't use a swap file and I wouldn't use swap unless its on a dedicated partition, this router shouldn't need swap....unless its trying to handle 200,000 connections.

If the structure is the same..
hm.. where could be the problem. I have another question:
Can you please check and list all open ports on your router? With NMAP or some other port scanning tool..
I think the dl master connects to the 1213 port but I don't see it open.
