Hello!

I've flashed the dlink dir-320 with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (09/01/09) mini-usb-ftp - build 12774M NEWD Eko flash. Then plug in 1.5Tb HDD formatted in ext3 and set up slim samba For some files it gives me the Insufficient disk space error when i am copying files on it. This doesn't depend on file name or path (I've tried to rename and relocate those files). Neither does it depend from size (some even bigger files copied well) Does anybody know what could that be? Or at least how to debug it? Samba doesn't write anything useful in logs.

Possible: Win7 or Vista with samba 2 is a combination that will cause trouble and needs manual tweaking.

In conjunction with Win7 samba needs to be of a version not yet available in optware to work properly. Vista and newer does not work with samba 2.X without tweaking Windows. There's an issue with Vista (+ newer) and files > 2GB, < 4 GB and with SlimSamba2, probably with files >4GB, too.

Search the forum for more info, I don't know it by heart.

Yeah, I've switched to samba3 using the following
Code:
wget -O /tmp/ConfSamba3.usb http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=11668
chmod +x /tmp/ConfSamba3.usb
sh /tmp/ConfSamba3.usb

Seem to work fine so far. Need to test it more thoroughly though

Meanwhile I've added a brief wiki about the matter:
