Which build for WHR-G300N

Just order the router from newegg, which version do you guys suggest? I see 12533 and 12672 available, but have seen references here for 12874.

Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.

You try reading other threads at all?

12874 is fine and probably the best as of now.

12966 has been working great on my 2 WHR-G300N's

It also has some fixes specifically for the WHR-G300N compared to 12874.

Remember to reset to defaults before and after flashing.

Agreed. As you can see the 12966 build wasnt out when I replied. But agree that it is currently the best for most as of now.

Yeah, I forget to pay attention to the post dates.

This forum is MUCH slower than the Broadcom one.

Sad really, as I think the Buffalo routers are great.

I haven't had much issues with them at all.

Especially since I did the antenna mod on these!

If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch etc, best build is 12255.

12966 is reporting tx problems in the broadcom forum.

I finally tried that build, although it caused issues for me, such as i lost connection to the router GUI mysteriously. Any one else had problems with it? need a solid build for iPhone.
