First, I'm sorry if my English is not the best, or if this topic is useless to somes, but I'm searching to solve some problems that I would like to see fixed and I'm resuming here some of the problems that people are reporting in other topics and some that I'm facing on my own..
I really want to see this router evolve because its the cheapest one I can afford (dd-wrt-able) here in Portugal. Unfortunately good cheap broadcoam units are not easy to find and I'm testing with this router because I plan to buy later another one to build a fully functional WDS network..
1) Front "Internet" led (the one that says Router) does not turn on in "Repeater Bridge" with build 13064 (used to light with 19266)
EDIT: .. and Current time in Status > Router shows Not available...
2) Site Survey worked for some time with 13064 but now can't get it to work. (using repeater bridge)
3) Someone reported that when wireless clients connect to routers in WDS mode, connection crash. Is this Solved??
4) Top router button does not work to turn radio on/off.
5) Cannot configure a virtal wireless interface with separate DHCP server, using repeater bridge mode. I tryed Setup > Networking > Multiple DHCP Server with no success.
6) Cannot configure in GUI VLAN ports, think its because this router does not have an internal switch, is that right?? (In several places there are vlan1 and vlan2 ... !?) So, no workaround?? EDIT: Router does not support VLANs
7) I was trying to create a Virtual Wifi Interface (ra1), being the physical interface (ra0) in repeater bridge mode (with WPA2-PSK). It seems that I can only connect to ra1 when security is disabled, when I activate WEP, it alaways fail!!
If you want I can add more topics to here, and when people respond I'll edit the post..
Hope you can help me..
Regards

Usually, if there are no vlans available in the webgui, it is because the router doesn't support them. _________________ Warning: I'm "out of my element!"

I also have no site survey now that I switched to repeater bridge mode. I'll submit a bug report on that. _________________ Warning: I'm "out of my element!"

ok thank on that.. Is the 3rd light that turns on when you have internet working with you in repeater bridge ??
1 and 3 are both on.
My mistake, I meant the 4th light, the one that says "Router". It used to turn on in 12966 when connected to main router and main router had Internet connection..

Well...It's on NOW, but I flashed 12427 onto it tonight! (It wasn't on before with 13064. ) _________________ Warning: I'm "out of my element!"

How do you have your access point and repeater bridge setup?
For the access point & repeater bridge, and virtual interface, all SSID's are the same.
I have WPA2-AES used for encryption, never tried WEP.
Both routers have same router name also.
I have specific channels set, also set it to 40mhz mode, and I also set N-Only and Greenfield mode.
I don't have any G clients connecting to these, so the N-only mode is not an issue. _________________ Soylent Green Is People !

anyone can help in the rest of my questions.. Or update how is the work going with the WHR-G300N ??
I really love this router, its small, cheap, and with the antenna mod make it a very good peace of hardware!! I really would love to see its support grow with dd-wrt.. :\
If I could, I would like to help because I am a programmer (studying Informatic Engineer too).. But I don't want to download 20Gb of data from svn.. I don't know how to download the source only for WHR-G300N! (I didn't researched enough too, but ok...), and see if I could help with something.. I just cant stand here without doing anything, waiting for things magically appear :\ ..
