Haha, you got me on that one...Been doing some reading. US release is scheduled for next week. I guess they decided to use europe and asia as test dummies first Razz

Then take a look at those dealers in Asia and Europe:

Hmm, some forums are saying this is a Dual Band router, but that specification is nowhere to be found in the Asus website.

Perhaps that is another countries standards. Probably why it took so long to get over here...and not to mention Wireless N being approved by the FCC...we will see.

Gonna start puttin $20 a week away so I can donate one to Eko...

Dual band but not 2 radios independent of each other if memory serves me right.
ie only 1 WLAN interface.

Hopefully getting it supported on DD-WRT won't take that long. Hell, I'm sure its nearly supported out of the box because of the Broadcom chipset.

This looks like the router I've been trying to hold out for.

I think we better start two threads, one called "is the N16 supported yet?" and the other one called "No, the N16 is not supported yet."
