All of these bug reports are at least half a year old, and none got any reply from developers at all, let alone a fix.
I always had the impression that dd-wrt is rather stable and had a pretty active community. But it seems this impression is wrong, since it's not even possible to get a basic connection to the internet working...
Problems wont be dealt with if the devs arent made aware of the issue. They dont visit the forums as often as people would like, and probably dont have the time to read through every post to see who has what problems. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924

Well, that's why I asked where to put bug reports. My issue was reported to both these places, and to the forums...
I'm just a bit surprised that such a fundamental bug as "pptp wan not working at all" can go unnoticed by the developers for over a year, despite several people reporting it.
Is really noone here using DD-WRT with static IP PPTP at all? Every DSL provider I know of is using these settings.

One thing that some people have pointed out is the fact that so many new options get added to DD-WRT while many of the problems that have been around for a long time never get fixed. One strategy to get the devs to notice the issues is to get others with the same problems to post updates to the tickets on trac or by sending a PM to the devs themself. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924
