And are you using a specific channel. I couldn't find a place to set the channel on the bridge side.

In CB or RB mode you shouldn't even be able to pick a channel period. Even Auto shouldn't show up on the CB or RB. You have to set the channel on the AP to control what channel the Bridge is using.

I am using NEWD-2 on both units (600n and 610n).

Anyone know whether the javascript issues in this build are device specific?

I've been holding off installing this patch (despite the vulnerability) because I don't want to create new issues with browser compatibility.

Eko, can we expect a new build posted soon?

so ive tried every channel and left it as auto. If i have both radios on my ap and just the 5ghz radio on.. on the bridge...the max i get is 54mbit.

The 5ghz radio is set to NA mode...it worked fine with the build prior to this (they are both wrt 600n) any other suggestions. and yes i have done the hard reset

further more it seems to have some un healthy orgy with channel 54...and it actully looks that even if i specify the channel it still reverts to auto. like i said though after hard resets etc it works fine in older builds. with newd-2

I would not name it a "javascript issues", it is just that on ONE site IE is not able to open a popup-window ("Wireless Client MAC list"). I personally had to search the button before even being able to reproduce it. All in all I think this is no button you click twice a day Wink

Nevertheless, if I cannot access the wireless client Mac list, it will create an operational issue for me.

I guess I'll sit tight and wait for the next release to be published.

It`s just a problem with IE 6,7 and 8!
With firefox it`s working (works for me with 3.5.1)
It´s fixed in the next build.

I have been running this build now for about three days.

No problems to report.

It seems to have fixed wireless performance issues I was having with BS-12533.

After trying several variants (openvpn, openvpn_small, std_nokaid) I can't get CIFS to run. In std_nokaid the module cifs.o is present but the share won't be mounted at boot and if I try to manually mount the process just hangs. No firewall on the target machine and samba running.

Works just fine for me on my WRT54GLv1.1 running std-nokaid 12548M NEWD. I have a CIFS share and it loads on boot just fine.

I've been up for about four days now with NEWD-2 and the Signal and Noise are about 5% better but it is not very stable. The signal & Noise fluctuate about 4 dbm and it could be the Signal only or the noise only. NEWD was not quite the signal and noise level but it was rock solid stable.

I've had NEWD-2 on my 600N for 6 days now and I have not noticed anything negative with my signal, because I'm right next to my router now with the laptop. Has anyone with a 600N noticed any better or worse throughput with there 600N with NEWD-2 vs NEWD? Someone with the router not so close as to 1 foot away like myself now. I'm talking on both bands by the way.
