109 - Your are finished with a project. The "Pride of Your Fleet" is ready to come off the bench and go back in service.

Before you put the covers back on, you gently remove any finger prints, dust, and other foreign debris with a soft cloth dampened with windex.

If this is true...go back in...reclean with water...Ammonia will slowly eat copper.

according to a xerox rep you should never use windex with ammomnia on a copier.

the ammonia fumes are attracted to the drum by high voltage and coat the drum. toner won't stick to it. you get bands of gray across your copy. you call in a copier repairman...

the independent copier repairman who cleaned the glass with windex with ammonia-d never mentioned this.

I gently blew on it with my supple lips to completely dry it. :P

You are correct about the corrosion.. That assumes that the fumes are still present..

Gently blowing with supple lips until completely dry, should take care of that.. The ammonia is gone.. {poof} :D

I didn't douse the thing.. Just got the clean, soft, white cloth just a bit damp in the corner (finger prints).

110. You can make jokes about other users who are greatly practiced in gently blowing with their supple lips...

I just could NOT resist...

Had to be done... Internet demanded it!!!

#111 - You prefer JTAG to any other method of flashing, even though easier methods may exist.

111. You wake up in the morning, switch browser tab to the dd-wrt forum tab and collect the new posts.
The time stamps on them looks like they are from yesterday.
It's then you realise that the forum has logged you off in the night so you are just a visitor without a profile.
And it has zeroed your "uptime"

I think there were 2 111's on this page because the first post on page 5 should have been 91?

112. You spend more time cutting the hole in the front of your thin router so you can keep the lid on and still plug in the JTAG cable while keeping the router aesthetically appealing. Plus it looks cool being able to see the header. Laughing

113. You built said cable from scratch even though you could have bought one cheaper than it cost to build.

114. You wish the forums had an RSS feed.

I get email updates to all threads I post in on my cell phone and check the forums anywhere I can get cell service.

Also, you ssh to your routers remotely via your cell phone just to make sure everything is okay.

I'm guilty of dozens more of these than I'd ever admit to my wife. LOL!!! Laughing
