I know F5D8233-V3 is not DD-wrt compatible, however will it work as a Host using a compatible router running dd-wrt (Netgear WNR834B v2) running the latest firmware "dd-wrt.v24-12548_NEWD_mini"?

I am having issues with connectivity because my Netgear is upstairs and I am in basement. I believe I can solve this buy running 2 routers instead of 1 using the client-bridge method.

I also have a Trendnet-432BRP router that I can use as host instead. I rahter use the Belkin since its N rated (same as Netgear)

Thanks
