Hello, Gents
I have two semi-theoretical questions.
1. Is it possible to compile DD-wrt micro firmware that includes PPTP client from standard version of the DD-WRT firmware? I mean is it possible to upload then this firmware to WRT54G2 and to make it workable? It has only 8 MB of RAM but maybe it is possible to cut something that is not important for me…
2. Second question is about Wired Bridging. I know that the Bradcom chipset that is embedded into the WRT54G2 router does support the following functionality:
It is possible to organize bridging between WAN and a few LAN port. It means that, for example, for WRT54G2 we would have:
(WAN, LAN1, LAN2) in one MAC space and (LAN3, LAN4) in another subnet. Even more, LAN3 and LAN4 ports can be located in NAT that is organized by the router.
Is it possible to set up this functionality at the micro DD-wrt using commands, or additional modification is required?
