I have tried to write a shell script (wol.sh) to do WOL: /usr/sbin/wol -i 192.168.1.255 00:24:54:7B:BD:CC

such that I can call it from a secure shell program.

I have found that custom.sh under /tmp is not being removed after reboot.

However, the shell program (wol.sh) is removed after rebooting the router. So, how can I keep the program in flash memory?

Add the following 2 lines in your router's startup script /Administration -> Commands tab/.

echo /usr/sbin/wol -i 192.168.1.255 00:24:54:7B:BD:CC > /tmp/wol.sh
chmod 777 /tmp/wol.sh
