WRT54G v5 CFE
get from cat /dev/mtd/0 > /tmp/www/cfe.bin
Firmware: DD-WRT v23 SP3 (03/04/07) micro, don't have time testing for v24 SP1.

EDIT: It should be a v5 device, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hi All,

I desperately need a cfe for this router; none from the various websites or cfe generators have worked properly.

If anyone knows a good repo of these or could send it to me I'd be most grateful...I see that Pandora-Box sent in one for this same model.

When I get this router going again I'll retrieve bootloaders from my other routers and post them too!

Should the same Firmware version be used to aid in the recovery of a bricked wrt54g v6 when using this CFE?

No...the CFE is untouched by the FW...if you use TJTAG to flash the CFE onto the v6...you can flash any FW version of micro using tftp.

Yes I am interested too. I have all the posted cfe and wholeflash that are able to be downloaded and plan on trying to make a wiki page, and this is one of the one's I don't have yet.

I made a folder called new_uploads. If someone just wants to upload a cfe instead of e-mailing it.

Uploads should go there. Then someone can change the macs to generics (DHC Razz ), then file them in the proper place.

So... DD-WRT'sters.. upload your cfe's and they will be checked, macs changed to generic and filed in the correct folder.

If you need a cfe and have a linksys, you need to look in the linksys folder Shocked

url=ftp://ftp.barryware.net
username = dd-wrt
password = router

All Mac's will be changed to generic when possible.
