can not figure this out, want to switch FW

hello,
i have a wrt54gs v.7
and it has the : DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/28/0Cool micro
FW on it

i wanted to switch to Tomato to try it out
but i cannot get the ddwrt off!!
ive use the web gui, ive used tftp
they both go successfull (unless i try the linksys stock fw, then the web gui fails)

but when i log back in, its still ddwrt!!

what am i missing

I've been away from tomato for a long time.. Unless something has changed, they don't support a GS V7. Before I put my foot in my mouth, I checked their wiki. The GS V7 is not listed as supported.

Probably has something to do with the 2mb flash chip.

i have been having problems with my wireless internet connection just dropping off randomly,

i think there might be a correlation for when one computer comes on it knocks another off, but i haven't been able to verify that.

i have 6 wireless computers and 1 wired,

Lots of wireless settings and router settings to play with.

Search for recent posts by bother "blazian". He seems to have figured out some reliable wireless settings.
