I search for a personal script, how to find by ssh the version of router.
Can you help me ?

nvram get DD_BOARD
nvram show | grep ^board

may give you some basic idea...

Last time this came around I believe the concensus was that one could build a matrix of WRT54G versions and deduce the hardware version from variations in hardware, but nobody had taken the effort to do so yet.

It would be useful for things like showing the left/right antenna assignments in the GUI.

My information my be out of date, maybe somebody's done it now.

Can't you just look on the router itself?

My it has written wrt54g v2.2 for example.

Where's the router version there? I only see the DD-WRT version.

I have some DD-WRT routers installed > 500km from my desk. I can see the value of remote sensing.
