I'm running the EKO-TNG 11886 release on my Linksys WRT54G v3; is there any advantage to this one instead? I looked through the Timeline but don't really see anything...
I noticed that the EKO 11886 release says "pre-SP2" for the version.
Is the security light on the WRT350N supposed to come on when the WAN connection is active ??
I obviously flashed this new build to my WRT350Ns - using Mega Generic - and it does not matter if the WiFi Radio is on or off, but when WAN is active the security LED is illuminated as well as the Internet LED. If I boot up with WAN disconnected all seems normal, then I plug the WAN in and once it establishes communication, the security light comes back on and stays on.
Anyone else ?
The security light doesn't come on at all on my 300n
I may be wrong but I think the only router that has supported security LEDs is the 600n. If you give Eko the gpio of the LED I'm sure he could add support for it.

Thought about messin' with the GPIO aspect of things, but before I did that, I thought I would open a trac ticket.
That ticket has been closed already by BrainSlayer ... "invalid - the security led is used as wan connection indicator on some devices".
So now we know - and knowing is half the battle .. GI JOE !
I just flashed my wl500gp v1 with this. Eko 11650 was very very slow and I never got around to replacing it until now. I see no issues with this version.
Out of curiosity, why is this version so much larger than the EKO one? EKO's 11886 mega is 6.0MB, but BS 11942 Mega is 7.7. That's quite a considerable difference!
I'm new to dd-wrt and JUST got my used 600N today (but have been lurking in the forums for a bit.)
For what it's worth as a new user, I did a 30/30/30 and upgraded my STOCK 600N directly from within the Linksys firmware page. It worked perfectly.
So far so good on everything, my Apple Notebook is only getting 135 Mbit/s on 802.11n, but this seems to be a known issue. I'll have to reboot into XP via BootCamp and see if this is a Mac OS X thing or chipset Apple is using.
tcharron someone asked this earlier in this thread :
I've answered that question in a previous thread.
Did a compare of the /usr/sbin directory and noticed that Brainslayer's version has asterisk (1.3 MB) and tcpdump (743 KB) added (in the latest even a VNC-repeater) _________________ R7000 Kong vpn 23550-R01 (Main Router)

Has anybody had issues with UPnP working (showing on web gui) intermittently? I know it works when initially enabled. Everything shows on web gui, but I have found if you refresh page it will no longer show ports that are being opened after turning off what device you are using UPnP for( though I believe it still to be working). _________________ R7000 Kong vpn 23550-R01 (Main Router)

I am using this on a WRT600N, "NA-Only" (so I can set the channel), 40MHz, channel 161, upper, and my MacBook Pro does often get up to 214 and 270, the maximum real-world throughput I am able to achieve right next to the router is 53.5 Mbits/sec. I would expect double that with the wide channel open as it says it is. Any thoughts?
What real-world throughput are others seeing with this? Any settings I should tweak?
Anyone please tell me the difference between this mega build and Eko's?
It's noticed, same named mega build, but 7.4M firmware size for this and 5.8M for Eko's.
any function different?

Is there any entry in the GUI for asterisk? Or maybe Asterisk-GUI?
