i load dd-wrt onto my belkin f5d7231-4 v2000. i was trying to set it up as a repeater and i have messed something up. now i can no longer see its ssid or log onto it any way as the lan ports do not work after installing dd-wrt.

when i plug the router in the power light comes on for about 10 seconds, and then the wireless light comes on and the power light goes off. i have tried to reset the router using the button but nothing happens. any help would be appreciated.

Unplug router, press reset button and keep it pressed while plugging in the power.
Release it after three seconds. Power and Connected led must blink. This means upgrade mode. Upload the Belkin F5D7231-4_v2000_sercomm_revert.bin file and let it restart and reset to defaults. Then repeat the procedure with the F5D7231-4_v2000_sercomm_dd-wrt.bin image and reset it to defaults also.

Hi Guys,

Hoping you can help.

I've tried to do the firmware update on my 7231-4 several times now and its just not working.

The process seems to take a couple of hours to load the FW then the verify completes ok.

But I can't get it to overwrite the belkin firmware. On each and every reboot / reset it still has the belkin firmware.

I can only presume that I am doing something wrong.

Please help.

Thanks

Stu

Change the flash timing, please.
Click flash button quickly, when LED lighting changed.
