Hello everyone,
I just installed DD-WRT for the first time on my Linksys WRT54Gv7. I ran some speed tests and the weird thing is my upload speed is exactly the same, BUT my download speed is literally 1/2 the speed of what it used to be!
I always used to be able to pull approximately 2,300KB/sec download speed, but now I'm only getting around 1,000KB/sec.
The upload is the same, which is always between 280KB/sec - 310KB/sec.
Is there some settings I should change to get my max download speed back? I was getting MUCH better download speeds with the Factory Linksys Firmware...
Do you have try with DD-WRT v23 ?
On my WRT54G v2 the v23 works flawlessly while the v24 does not. _________________ DD-WRT v24-SP2 b13491M (12/19/09) std on WRT54G v2.0

Careful with QoS settings too, did you use those? I found out that if you input too low bandwidth values it will slow down your connection. That was with v23 though, I did not take a chance with v24 and did not use QoS. Result was a 50% increase in my d/l when I tried without the QoS. _________________ Frank
