I really like the bandwidth monitoring on the wan page.. but i have 1 router setup without a wan as it is just serving as wireless on my net as i have a subnet of private static ips it does not have a wan address only a lan..

i would still like to be able to monitor total traffic on the lan/or wifi by month.. could you add those graphs to those pages also

thanks

not possible, as lan data is handled directly by the switch.

you may be correcdt but it does not appear that way to me if so.. how is the lan traffic graph implemented under sysinfo/bandwidth??? that means there are some hooks in the traffic monitoing somwehre also mrtg /snmp can monitor it so it should be possible.. maybe just not the same waythe other graph is implemented?

This Graph also only shows the traffic between Lan and other ports (WAN, WLAN) and not the traffic between the different Lan ports.

Maybe if you put every device in a VLAN so traffic will be forced over the gateway you can achieve this.

Another way is to have a switch with a port you can put in promiscuous mode.

side question

is there a way to monitor bandwidth if using it as a client bridge?

since the internet is the wifi, and the wan port is not being used (without using vlan to combine it with switch ports)

thanks,
