at the moment we do not support 40 mhz turbo (or just somewhat limited) for 2.4 ghz. we do only support it fully for 5 ghz devices
without comparing we reached 32 mbit in 5 ghz (20 mhz, 50 mbit with 40 mhz)
and 28 - 29 mbit with 2.4 ghz devices. the 40 mhz throughput in 5 ghz is capped by the low cpu speed. with XR5 cards and avila gateworks boards we are getting 65 mbit tcp throuput
the various channel mappings for XR3, XR9 etc are all supported by dd-wrt devices. so you can select the target channel without recalculating the offset.
the same for the output power. the full output power is available and the power offset is detected by dd-wrt. so you will always see the correct power info on the gui _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Hello ,
Thanks for the reply.
We are using LS2 boards on regular basis on 2.4Ghz band. As you rightly said the thruput is capped because of the processor speeds. I do agree.
That's why now we are planning for XR2 and XR5 cards, into ADI SBC250 boards. We already placed our order for SBC 250 and expecting them shortly . Please give me your comments on this combination.
Advise me how to delete the default level2 ANTkOR OS in the SBC250 cards and load DD-WRT.
What are the better features available in DD-WRT compared to ANTKOR??

but its similar to the sbc-metro so it should be no problem to add supportd i think.
but thats up to brainslayer. but im sure he will need a board for the port

there are many benefits over ikaros. first benefit, its "stable" (i just heard that ikaros has a alot of stability problems. its not my own impression)
and you have alot of more features inside the firmware. whatever you do with ikaros. everything is possible with dd-wrt, but more
okay now to the sbc 250. i never got this board, so i was not able to test it. if there is redboot on it, you may try to install the pronghorn firmware. it might work. the installations instructions should be the same. do not forget to unlock the flash space by fis unlock before flashing _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Brainslayer,
I got an evaluation key from DD-WRT for my LS2 board.
It is showing AUTO in channel change mode. How do we select the required frequency / channel??
We put the TURBO MODE ON. My question is how much throughput difference will be there in 54Mbits mode and 108 Mbits mode for the same signal strength and RF power output??
