I flashed the firmware NS2 with NS2.dd-wrt.bin using tftp. Flashed went fine and got the message that file transferred successfully. Now, after flashing the NS2, I can’t get into admin webpage or either ping it with any IP address i.e. 192.168.1.20 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.180.1. Can someone please help to provide me any information to how to revert back to original firmware and how to properly flash the NS2.dd-wrt firmware?

just follow the instructions. after you transfered the file with tftp it takes up to 3 minutes until the unit is flashed (you see this on the moving led bar, if its moving its still flashing)
after flashing you can reach it at 192.168.1.1 _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s
due to the great power and sensibility of this ubiquiti devices, do u think if some1 will set a new w-net will buy this devices instead of buffalo hp, for example?
maybe in germany... here in venezuela, the price of ns is arround 400 - 500; and buffalo hp arround 900 - 950. _________________ 2xX86|30xBroadcom|1xUBI

Especially when talking about NS vs Buffalo in outdooruse as CPE, NSx are cheaper. As you don't need external antennas and cable NS also are much more easy to install.

What i forgot to mention: Comparing NS5 to Buffalo WHR-HP-AG108 the Ubiquity is much faster to be flashed to DD-WRT. Since AirOS 3.x.x it's possible to flash the DD-WRT by webinterface, that makes it much more convenient.

even considering the price of lincenses ns are still cheapper (at least here in venezuela). and if i consider the save in cable, connectors and antennas then HUGE CHEAPPER. _________________ 2xX86|30xBroadcom|1xUBI

i have read of ns2 have arround half of potency of buffalo hp, so even they have better sensibility, if i use 1 for share internet with some friends, normal wireless clients (cheap cards), will have less signal/troughtput with if, and better if i use buffalo hp...
do im wrong? _________________ 2xX86|30xBroadcom|1xUBI

I've read all these messages referring to licenses for using DD-WRT for flashed Ubiquity nanostations.
Are licences required for this? Can I not just flash the device and use it?
