Well, after much frustration I can confirm that the JTAG connector on the left side, and the one in the center are for their respective WLAN chips, and not for the primary processor.
I haven't made my way over to the third and final connector yet, but I've tediously poked wires into all of the little holes and connected them to my USB JTAG adapter. Yay...
So far the first two JTAG's I've connected to yielded the following result...
So the good news is that JTAG definitely appears to be working and that the flash is accessible...the bad news is I know have a brick! Yay for experimental settings!

Can someone fill me in on the details of this, I didn't see it in the thread anywhere.
Jtag cable being used ?
Jtag software being used ?
What is the flash chip ? _________________ Want JTAG support - Donate a router

hey tornado we are trying to get a backup of the cfe and nvram, however the pin count on the 610n is 14 not the usual 10 on the other models. i have gone to my parts store. they don't carry to 14 pin header. they only carry 16-30 headers... the spacing of the pins is smaller also... _________________ e3200 stock <- waiting for support
