Habe mein Gateworks in Betrieb genommen.
Das Teil ist wirklich der Hammer.

Allerings zeigt ein Netzwerkcheck auf heise.de
die Ports 80 und 53 als offen an
Wan Intercace ist ixp0

Ist das ein Bug ?
Remote Access, Telnet und SSH sind ausgeschaltet.

Auf meinem Alix mit der Version 05/20/2008 waren alle Port geschlossen

Bei Avila Version 05/20/08 zeigt die beiden Ports als offen an

Wie kann ich die Ports schießen ?

Habe ich schon mit iptables versucht, klappt aber nicht

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j DROP
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 53 -j DROP

und dann "Save Firewall" bringt nix

Nun habe ich mich selber vom Webinterface ausgesperrt.
Default Settings wiederherstellen mit Reset Button ?

afaik hat das avila kein reset button...kann mich auch irren

versuch mal nen anderen ethernet port

Doch hat einen Reset Button
Der Port auf WAN ist jetzt zu, aber eben auch auf LAN

War da nicht irgendwas mit dem Jtag Header?
2 pins kurzschließen....

OK das hat geklappt, allerdings sind Port 53 und 80 immernoch offen !!!!

waer net schlecht gewesen die iptabels anweisung nur auf den wan port zu beschraenken....net auf alle ports...

Als ich das Kommando abgeschossen habe, ist mir das auch eingefallen !
Oh man

Wie geht es denn jetzt richtig ?

So ?
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -i ixp1 --dport 80 -j DROP
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -i ixp1 --dport 53 -j DROP


Die Frage ist, warum sind die Ports überhaupt offen ?

es ist verrückt.
Nach dem Reset und der Neueinrichtig, sind die Ports geschlossen.
