flashed the wrong firmware (std instead mini) - got upload not succsessfull - powercycled and reseted the router but no webaccess possible -ping to 192.168.1.1 is working when i try to tftp the linksys firmware WRT54GL_v4.30.11_012_ETSI_EN_code.rar after powering on the router it says: after one byte or something like this: code pattern incorrect.
yeah it's zipped - didn't saw it. - the tftp upload worked and it said successfull but after powercycling and resetting the power led ist stil blinking and no webaccess is posible.
- waitet 10 minutes after successful upload and now it's ok - thanks
I'm getting code pattern incorrect as well. 192.168.1.1 pings fine but when into the command line I enter:
tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin
I get "Error on server: code pattern incorrect"
I have navignated to the directory that the generic firmware is in "C:\\Users\Jeff\Downloads\"
Wow, I decided to just use the mini firmware to play around...unbelievable.
I tested this with my neighbor's network in repeater bridge mode, and it's just as fast as my home network.
